A dream dress with hundreds of pearls. This was an alteration project, but -as you can imagine- not the easiest 🙂 The dress fit was too loose at the shoulders and at the waist, further it was about 5 cm too long. These alterations ” shoulder, waist, length” are coming in fairly often. But to alter this dress was a certain challenge, because of the many pearls and the slightly elastic material.

Basically I had to mark, move and re-sew every single pearl that was not in place. It was fun – because I like it and I’m certainly really happy about the result. It was worth every stitch.
