Professional Internship for Fashion Design Students and Graduates in Tokyo, Japan

If you are a student or graduate from a fashion design school you are welcome to apply for an internship at my atelier.

I have been working with interns from around the globe in the past years. Students and graduates have the chance to practise and highly improve their skills on high quality tailoring projects, such as bridal and evening gowns, suits, stage costumes and installations.

You will further have the chance to strongly participate in the growing online pattern library with designs and creative ideas.

Your role will be to assist at any kind of tailoring projects, pattern making, pattern cutting, draping, technical drawings, fabric and material sourcing as well as participating in photoshoots for social media and the atelier’s website.

Applicants shall have excellent skills in pattern making, using the sewing machine and shall be able to apply intermediate tailoring techniques. A strong interest in boosting the atelier’s Social Media is an extra Plus.

Internships are possible for a period of 3+ months (Please note: the atelier is closed in August)

Compensation and sponsoring for Japan Entry Visas are not offered.
