I just updated to Grafis Version 12!!

Champagne for breakfast!! I just went to Hamburg, Germany and bought my new version of the CAD software Grafis, Version 12. They released this new version in April 2017 and I will be the first pattern maker, who uses this software in Japan! Of course I’m proud of that and am looking forward to serve my dear customers with even better fitting patterns and high quality tailoring services!!

Simply Amazing

Recently I made some adjustments for this dress. It was ordered by my client from an Online Store in New Zealand and unfortuately it was too long and not shaped enough around the waist and hip line. I shortened the length without loosing the wonderful flowing shape and the diagonally added skirt and lace at the bottom. When sharpening the silhouette at the waist and hip, the dress was too fitted, so I had to add an invisible zipper (conseiler zip) The whole adjustment was very delicate and I had to handle the dress like a raw egg, but am very satisfied with the final outcome. My client called me a “livesaver” ♡

Tink’s Uniform – A Minimal Wardrobe

If you will travel to Miyanmar, Thailand, India etc to do Hoolahoop Workshops and Circus, if you move to a much smaller appartment and get rid of many things that aren’t really neccessary for your daily surviving, you might think about a minimal wardrobe. So does Mediatinker Kristen and came to my atelier. What she ordered from me were remakes of her beloved tunic T-shirt dress in 5 different textiles. 2 of the jersey fabrics she found in my stock, 3 more she found in Nippori, the fabric town North of Tokyo. The pieces came out as playful as her whole character.
