A Bag in Perfect Balance

This is a bag that a student brought over recently to show me andI think it’s a really really practical shape! Front and bag piece have two tucks, who create the egg-form. The opening has a “standing collar” made of a trim, then the hangers are attached.

The standing collar and trim create an opening that is big enough to take out all things, but holds the bag so perfectly in shape that things won’t fall out even though there’s no zipper sewn in. The balance of the bag is very nice when things are inside, so it stands stable. Really well done!
