March 4th of this year (2012) I blogged Pantsmania. My friend Kaori made one pair and my student Gary as well.

We started from scratch, from the pure pattern, planning the zipper location and the pockets, did the tailoring, the fitting and cut off the threads short. Kaori finished the pants within a week and flew off with them to Paris.

Gary took a little longer… but “Gut Ding will Weile haben” (look up this German expression, if you like 😉 ) and I’m very proud to blog his result today: The red Summer pants for his wife Mari!

She loves them!!!
