        Just a brief note to let you know they arrived last night and Kei LOVED them!! He was SO thrilled with how they came out, as was my husband. All he could say was how “awesome” they were. Now he wants to watch Cars again tonight for the umpteenth time.

    Can you please tell me the dimensions and what types of school bags kids need in japan? We will be moving there in a few months and my son is in elementary – I’d like to sew some before we leave. Thanks!

      It took me a while to respond… the school bags have the dimensions of: lesson bag (30/40cm), shoe bag (30/23cm), sports bag (38,5/31,5cm), lunch bag (20/19,5/12cm) and cup bag (17/12/6cm). I also made a sleeping mask with a little bag for a montessori kindergarden. The dimensions were 12cm for the mask and 10/10cm for the mask cover with a snap button. The emergency cover that can be hung on a chair -called Bousai Zukin Cover- is (35/43cm) Enjoy making them 🙂
