I went to Nippori last week and again I found soo many (too many) nice textiles. I couldn’t leave this one behind. It is a Japanese cotton in black with a print of white stripes and golden dots. It happened that I changed the whole style of the pattern that I had in mind and made a cute Summer dress out of it with a lot of smock lines, down from the waist until the lover hip. The bottom is sewn to a balloon skirt! (Didn’t expect that before***)

The fabric was bought at Iwase, Nr.78 on the Nippori Map.
