You might like cussions with a special hint of colour along the edges. For these special hints there are many possiblities: either you sew in some tassels or a frill, a piping or you make a frame with bias tape.

For the bias tape version,

① cut 4 stripes in the length of your cussion + 3 cm on each of the corners and in the width of 8 cm.

② iron the stripes along the long side in half  and ③ sew two stripes together like a 45 degree roof.

④ Flip the stripes inside out and iron the corners

⑤ then you can decide, if you want to sew first the front side of your cussion cover to on side of the frame, followed by the back side or if you want to sew the front and back textile together in your frame. Both versions are interesting
