Silk is as you might know a wonderful fabric. It is warming in the Winter and cooling in the Summer. It is very light, dries quickly and is therefore perfect to take it with you for your holiday. Last Saturday my student finished her cute  blouse of striped silk. She cut the pieces with and 90° to the grainline and through this playful use of the stripes she created her very pesonal design.
