This is one example for a futon towel set. The small towel will be put on the futon sheet and the large towel will be used as a blanket. The towel fabric is really nice for hthe end of the Japanese summer: still warm, and a little windy. The hem is appliqued and there’s a red and blue tape around all edges. This checkered fabric in combination with the white towel reminds much of traditional swedish embroideries….
